Configure my Data Center and contact settings

The “My Settings” tab lets you manage your Data Center and contact settings in one place. Adjust your Data Center preferences and easily update who can access the Service Center and receive software update notifications to fit your organizations needs.


The “My Settings” tab is your central hub for managing key configurations in the Data Center platform. From this section, you can easily customize your environment and keep your organizations contact information up to date.

Within My Settings, you can:

  • Configure your Data Center preferences to align with your organization operational needs.

  • Manage contact information, including who can access the Service Center and who should receive software update notifications.

  • Add, edit, or disable contacts to ensure only the right people have access to the appropriate service tools and communications.

Keeping your settings current helps ensure streamlined service, and timely access to product updates. We recommend reviewing these settings regularly to make sure your information is accurate and aligned with your internal responsibilities.


Data Center admin

The “Data Center Admin panel allows you to define and manage the administrator contact details for your Hybrid Software Data Center company account. This contact will serve as the primary point of communication for administrative matters, including product installers, license and contact management to defining user access to Hybrid Software service tools.

Field

Description

First Name

The first name of the Data Center administrator.

Last Name

The last name of the Data Center administrator.

Email Address

The email address of the Data Center administrator.

Phone Number

The general phone number of the company.

If the Data Center administrator is not defined as company contact, the “Add to contacts” button will appears next to the email address to add the contact to the list of company contacts. Now you can give the Data Center contact access to Hybrid Software service tools and set user permissions.

Edit the Data Center admin

The Data Center administrator contact details can be updated at anytime.

  1. Click on the “Edit Data Center admin” ✏️ icon in the top right of the “Data Center Admin” panel.

  2. Update the available contact details.

  3. Click “Save”.


Login details

In the “Login Details” panel, the Data Center password can be changed for accessing the Data Center platform. We recommend updating the password regularly to maintain account security. Only the Data Center administrator can modify these login credentials. Make sure to choose a strong, secure password and store it safely.

Password

The encrypted password to have access on Data Center.

Change password

The Data Center password can be updated at anytime.

  1. Click on the “Change password” ✏️ icon in the top right of the Login Details panel.

  2. Enter the current password.

  3. Enter the new password.

  4. Confirm the new password.

  5. Click “Save”.

The Data Center user name is defined by Hybrid Software and can’t be changed.


Company contacts

The company contacts are stored in the “Company Contacts” panel. The Data Center administrator can give access to Hybrid Software tools and set user settings.

Field

Description

First Name

The first name of the contact.

Last Name

The last name of the contact.

Email Address

The email address of the contact.

Phone Number

The phone number of the contact.

Contact Type

The type of contact. Four contact types available;

  • Technical: the person performs a technical function.

  • Commercial: the person performs a commercial function.

  • IT: an internal IT or external IT partner contact.

  • Manager: the person performs a manager function.

Company

The company where the contact is assigned. The company can’t be updated.

Group

If the company is part of a group, the group name will be shown.

Sites

If the company is part of a group, you can select the required companies of the group where the contact need access to the service tickets.

Service Center

Give access to the Service Center platform to create a service ticket in the required product service desk.

Software Updates

Receive notification emails with release notes when a new software version is available.

Contact Status

If the contact is no longer employed within the company, you can disable the user account. Access to all Hybrid Software tools will be denied. You can reactivate the account at any time.

Add a contact

You can add a new company contact.

  1. Click on the “Add contact” ➕ icon in the top right of the Company Contacts panel.

  2. Enter the required contact details.

  3. Click “Save”.

The Data Center administrator should be also defined as a company contact to get access to Hybrid Software tools and set user settings.

Edit a single contact

The details of each entered company contact can be updated.

  1. Click on the contact “Edit contact” ✏️ icon in the Company Contacts panel.

  2. Update the available contact details.

  3. Click “Save”.

Edit multiple contacts

The phone number, contact type, sites, Service Center access, software updates notifications and the contact status of multiple company contacts can be updated in batch.

  1. Click on the supported contact detail column “Batch … ” ✏️ icon in the Company Contacts panel.

  2. Update the available contact details.

  3. Click “Save”.

Show disabled contacts

As default, disabled contacts are hidden. You can show disabled contacts by clicking on the “Show disabled contacts' in the header bottom right.

The “Show disabled contacts” button is only shown once a contact is disabled.

Filter on contacts

In the header bottom left, there is a “Filter” field where you can filter on contact details by entering a search term. The number of contacts founded are shown. The results can be exported to an Excel file by clicking on the “Excel” icon next to the Filter field.
